Spring/Summer 7 a-side rugby sessions May 2nd 2012 – July 25th 2012
To be held Wednesdays, 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Additional sessions may also occur on Sundays around 11 am – to be confirmed in emails from U14 coaches.

Sessions will be practices and inter-squad scrimmages. Some players may use these sessions to improve their chances of being selected to play in the BC Summer Games 7s event July 19 – 21 and to be selected to the Provincial 7s Team to play in the nationals in August.

Players already registered in the Winter/Fall 13 a-side rugby season are welcome to attend these 7s sessions with no extra charge to what they have already paid for the 2011/2012 Winter/Fall season.

New players are invited to attend these 7s sessions. Registration fee is $140. NEW PLAYERS MUST REGISTER BEFORE PLAYING. All new registrants must fill out the four forms that can be downloaded here and bring them and the $140 cheque (made payable to Capilano Mini Rugby) to their first practice. Any tournament or tryouts fees are separate.

Registration Fee for Spring/Summer Sevens is $140. That is reduced from the $200 annual fee shown on the Caps regform. Spring/Summer Sevens registration is good until August 31, 2012. The Capilanos Fall/Winter 2012/2013 season starts late-September, 2012 and runs to April, 2013. That is a 13 a-side rugby format. At that time, all players will be required to complete new registration forms and pay a new annual fee, which will run from September, 2012 to August, 2013.

SEASON WRAP-UP PARTY FOR FALL/WINTER 13 A-SIDE TEAMS
Sunday, May 13, at 10:30 am to noon at Klahanie clubhouse. This will follow a 7’s scrimmage from 9:30 – 10:30 that is open to all U14 players.

U14 BC Summer Games Camp details are as follows for the first stage of the identification process
Registration: — 9:30 a.m
Training: — 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Lunch: — 12:00 noon - 12:30 p.m.
Games: — 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Departure: — 2:15 p.m.

Venue to be confirmed but likely St George's School.

Capilano RFC recycling program

Capilano RFC has an ongoing recycling program. The refund we get helps with the club's everyday expenses i.e. field lining paint (aprox. $1000), washroom necessities (aprox $1000), to name just a couple. So save yourself the trouble of going to the recycling depot, leave your empties by the underneath door to the stands, NO NEED TO SORT THEM. Thanks in advance, Happy New Year.
