FEES — CAPILANO YOUTH RUGBY 2011/2012 SEASON |
ALL PLAYERS IN MINI/YOUTH RUGBY THROUGH U18s MUST REGISTER BEFORE PLAYING. Registration is good until August 2012.
At the beginning of the season please visit the On-Line Registration page and follow the links to register Kindergarten through U18 players. All other times please register manually by downloading the forms package and following the instructions below.
All registrants should fill out the required information on-line, download the forms listed below and bring them along to first practice. All forms are available at the end of the on-line process or can be downloaded here.
1. Rugby Canada 2011/2012 Registration Form
(The club must be in possession of a completed/signed form before a player is allowed on the field for
insurance purposes.)
2. Age Grade players only — BCRU requires you provide a copy of picture ID (School Card / Passport, etc.) to be kept by the club in the “team book” along with their registration form.

If not registering On-Line please also complete the Capilano RFC Registration Form included in the download package of forms and bring all forms and cheques to the club on practice day.
Method of payment: Credit Card, On-Line ONLY or Personal Cheque. (Cheques made payable to “Capilano Mini Rugby”.)

Kindergarten through Grade 6: $180 per person, plus lottery tickets – per family (See item 3 below). |
U13 (Grade 7 – born 1999): $180 per person (before 1st practice - $200 after),
plus lottery tickets – per family (see item 3 below). |
U14 (Grade 8 – born 1998): $180 per person (before 1st practice - $200 after),
plus lottery tickets – per family (see item 3 below). |
U15 (Grade 9 – born 1997): $180 per person (before 1st practice - $200 after),
plus lottery tickets – per family (see item 3 below). |
U16 (Grade 10 – born 1996): $180 per person (before 1st practice - $200 after),
plus lottery tickets – per family (see item 3 below). |
U17 (Grade 11 – born 1995): $180 per person (before 1st practice - $200 after),
plus lottery tickets – per family (see item 3 below). |

$50 cheque post-dated 1st April 2012 which will be returned to you un-cashed after 1st April 2012 if your family has completed a minimum of 5 logged volunteer hours in the period 12th September 2011 to 1st April 2012. Note: per family requirement not per player. |

$50 book of B.C.R.U. lottery tickets. Each FAMILY must take at least 1 book of lottery tickets. The lottery tickets may be sold to recover the $50.00 – prizes to be drawn November/December 2011. |

$4 charge is levied for credit card processing. |
While the club strives to keep fees as low as possible, especially for younger members, there are several factors outside our control that unavoidably lead to fee increases from time to time. These include the insurance and membership dues we pay for each player to Rugby Canada, and to the BC Rugby Union. In addition our fees include a per player amount we pay to the senior club for use of the facilities and maintenance of fields and club facilities. Our fees income does not cover the cost of running our program and we are reliant upon our fundraising efforts to offset the deficit.
Fees paid to enrol in the Capilano Youth Rugby program are eligible for the government's 'Children's Fitness Tax Credit' (a valid tax receipt is required which the Club will issue at the end of December 2011 - any individuals withdrawing & receiving a refund will not be issued a tax receipt).
Other Information:
Required attire — We sell kit as well as individual items. Recommended minimums; jersey, Shorts, mouthguard and cleats.
We ask that at least one parent be present at all games/practices in the event of illness/injury, child requiring assistance, and general monitoring.
